This site is run by a couple of furs from the DC area; We started this site because there is no good furry personals site
What does it cost?
This site is free, and will remain so!!!! We will add some advertisements to the site to help cover the cost of running the site.
As a parent can I restrict my child's access to your site?
Yes, pounced.org implements functionality used by net nanny type software, indicating that the site is for use by adults only. We support two such rating systems:
Our entire site is marked with the following ratings:
- VCR - Adult
- SafeLabel - Mature
You can install software supporting these rating systems on computers used by your children to prevent them from accessing potentially offensive material.
How is your personal information used?
Your personal information is used in your advertisement(s) and to improve your search results. For instance we use your zip code to do distance searches.
How will your email address be used?
We will only use your email address for mail which is directly related to this site. It will never be shared with a third party.
To help insure that your email remains spam free you should let pounced hide your email address and instead have people email you via the site - see ProtectingMyEmailAddress .

| I'd like some help in getting my location put into my and so people can see where in Canada I live. At least in a general. I have tried to locate my town but it keeps coming up with places that are not any where close to Canada. |

A question from myself:
Why do you have a wiki when normal users cannot create nor edit pages? One of the core concepts of wikis is that anyone can improve apon it, yet here it's impossible to do. Will this be possible in a future version of Pounced? |

| I wonder if you would consider putting the query that pulls info on gender and species back up somewhere on the site. I really appreciate the site as-is, but one of the draws Pounced.org always had for me, and for a lot of others I think, was that page with the stats. I mean, it's just neat to know how many foxes, how many binturongs, how many boy cats and girl cats, there are out there. |

| I couldnt find an email to email you guys with so hopefully you check this. I can not search for my profile.. no one can. It doesnt register or come up. Im still able to edit my profile and login but you cant find my profile anywhere on your site.. Please fix it or ill just have to quit.. v.v Zephriam |

| One big thing that irritates me is I have no way to find the profiles of those who respond to my ad. This is very frustrating! Can you fix this? Also can you make contacting the site administrators easy? |
