My name is Steve Sandell, AKA "BassMan"

My main fursona's name is Maynard "The BassMan" Von Schnauzer. I am 28, live in Southeast Iowa (When not on the road), travel for a living as a carnival game vendor and a truck driver (been a carny since 2003, had a CDL since 2005), and without a mate, I must admit I am lonely and my occupation is probably my biggest obstacle towards finding a mate right now. I am an Eagle Scout and quite Christian so don't expect any foul play, etc.

Inside the fandom, I've been known to do artwork, stories, and some amateur podcasting and video making. Roleplaying, I mainly do on Second Life (Maynard Schmooz, a wolf), but have been known to pop up on IMVU (BassManSTS, a raccoon) and Furcadia (BassMan, formerly BassMan the II, a schnauzer) from time to time.

My favorite hobbies (other than furry fandom of course) are fishing, singing karaoke, and shooting billiards. I am also quite fan of pro wrestling (Yes I know it's fixed, but hey! It's entertaining!) as well as a sports fan, especially of the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. Other things I have quite a bit of interest in include Highlander, Star Wars (to an extent, Episodes I-III weren't so great), Family Guy, Robot Chicken, 80's rock, classic rock, and oldies.

The reason I omitted "Quick Yiff," is because even though I'm straight and single, I am not the kind of guy who expects to do it right off the get-go! I am more of a gentleman when it comes to first dates, especially with my Catholic and Boy Scout upbringings.

To me, an ideal mate must have a decent sense of humor (Even better if you can take a joke from time to time as I love to joke!), not mind a traveler (Even better if you don't mind traveling with me!), and an open enough mind to at least tolerate what I'm into, even you aren't. As for age range, I'm mainly looking between 19 and 30, but am open-minded enough to go older. Ladies, if you like what you have read, feel free to "cast out" to The BassMan, and may the fish be with you.

Currently, I am home for my 2-month off-season in Burlington, IA. Also, I'm not going to lie about this! I am a smoker (my only real addiction), occasional drinker, and occasional pothead. As of Monday, Jan. 11th, I should be in West Palm Beach, FL for 3 weeks working the South Florida Fair and then after doing the Mardi Gras carnival in Lafayette, LA, should be spending 4 weeks in Plant City, FL including 2 weeks working the Strawberry Festival.

- I was diagnosed with autism, yet after I learned what it really is, I



have been able to capitolize on it's mental capabilities, therefore I



do not consider it a handicap or disability by any means!

- I have been unable to gain or lose weight since high school. I stand at 6'2" and weigh 150 lbs.
