Ahh...SWM seeks SM to share intellectual discussion, bizarre adventures, and half-crazed rantings?
I suppose someone reading this for the first time is going to want to know stuff about me, so let me start off by saying, I'm a boy, twenty-four years of age, with a strong preference for dating other boys; I'm five foot eleven inches tall, and weigh too much; my hair is a blondish-brown colour, and is almost always tied back into a ponytail; my eyes change colour, but are usually hazel or grayish-green; I wear glasses; I have a tongue piercing; I have no tattoos but want at least one; and my build could be roughly characterized as that of a football player.
My interests are widely varied.
-I love music, and especially singing, which I do quite frequently.
-I do write, but mostly my personal thoughts, with some work of fiction on rare occasions.
-I love to cook and, like singing, I do so frequently (sometimes together!).
-I play video games, of course, my favorite system being the 360.
-I like certain shows on television, like Mythbusters, Good Eats, Family Guy, Monty Python, etc.
-I'm a major film buff; I love movies, and frequently discuss them.
-I have a decided interest in the study of religion, and can discuss this at length.
-I have a great interest in paranormal phenomena, and enjoy talking about it.
-I do smoke, though I will abstain if requested; however, I don't do drugs, and I only drink socially.
The qualities I require in someone, friend or lover, are relatively few. You have to be intelligent, have a fairly good sense of humour, kind, caring, and who shares some similar interests as I.
The qualities I would like, however, are many more.
-Being cultured is a major plus. At least a rudimentary knowledge of the performing arts is nice. Knowledge of Art is good too (And I'm not talking about furry pictures).
-Being affectionate is very nice.
-Understanding and using punctuation and capitalization online is VERY important. The shift key is there for a reason!
-Being confident, without being arrogant.
-Being well-versed in conversation.
-Enjoying talking on the phone. I like to call folks.
-Having a bizarre sense of humour. If Invader Zim makes you laugh uncontrollably, you've got the right stuff.
