Hey this is Ollie Oxenfrey and I'm just wondering WHERE ARE ALL THE LESBIANS?????
From my dubious calculations it seems to me there's a great amount of gay men and bisexuals, but only a small amount of the illusive wild, furry lesbian.
Is it the culture? What makes there be more gay men/bisexuals, even more straight people, than there are gay gals? And how can we wrangle up more plaid puppies to join our cult of cuddliness? |

There are more gay guys in the fandom because a lot of the guys have issues finding a female so they turn to eachother for assistance in their sexual needs. some stay that way, so just become bi. |

I'm surprised more lesbians don't go jailhouse straight. It's tempting because the concept of guys is at least interesting even if the reality excites me about as much as uncooked broccoli. I really need to get out of my male-oriented communities and look at the local LGBT scene. |

I'm really only interested in women but I put bisexual just to extend my net out to that one male who might make the cut. We can only dream that there even is one, right? |

UPDATE: I started this thread before I looked inwardly and realized I was genderqueer/FTM.
I now label myself as pansexual - I love for personality rather than sex or gender. I've fallen in love with biological men and women, and transwomen. And its probably in my future to fall for a transman as well.I'm actually quite glad not a lot of lesbians are furries. I feel like lesbians are as entertaining as uncooked broccoli. Just throwing that out there.  |
